KAYAK ANALYTICS PTE LTD, a company incorporated in Singapore (UEN 201611647N), operates kayak-analytics.com. In this policy, ‘Kayak’, ‘we’, ‘us’ and ‘our’ refer to that Singapore entity. Our address is 59 Jalan Pemimpin, #05-01 L & Y Building, Singapore 577218.
This policy explains how we handle personal data in connection with our public website, enquiries, demonstrations and related business communications. Personal data means information about an identifiable individual. We apply Singapore’s Personal Data Protection Act 2012 (PDPA) where applicable. Some business contact information is excluded from the PDPA’s data protection provisions; we nevertheless handle business contacts responsibly.
This policy is not a data-processing agreement for Kayak’s software or customer deployments. Customer industrial, operational, SCADA, asset, maintenance and platform-user data provided under a proof of concept or service engagement is governed by the relevant contract, confidentiality commitments and any applicable data-processing terms, together with applicable law.
Please do not send passwords, production-system access credentials, confidential plant data or unnecessary sensitive personal information through the public contact form. We can arrange an appropriate channel where such information is required for an agreed engagement.
When you use our contact form, we receive your name, email address and message. If you contact us by email or otherwise, we may also receive your organisation, role, telephone number, correspondence and information you choose to provide about your requirements. We may retain records of a requested demonstration and follow-up communications.
Technical information may be generated when you visit the website, such as your IP address, browser and device information, pages requested, referral information and access or error logs. The information available depends on the website and hosting configuration and your settings. Third-party features are explained in section 6.
If you provide another person’s details, ensure that you have authority to do so and that they know the relevant purpose and this policy.
We use relevant information to respond to enquiries; understand business requirements; arrange requested demonstrations or meetings; prepare requested proposals; maintain related business correspondence; operate, troubleshoot and protect the website; prevent misuse; and meet applicable legal obligations or establish, exercise or defend legal rights.
We collect, use and disclose personal data for appropriate purposes that have been notified to you, with consent where required, or where applicable law permits or requires us to act without consent. Where we rely on a statutory exception, we must satisfy its conditions. We will provide further notice and obtain any necessary consent before using personal data for an additional purpose.
You may browse the website without submitting an enquiry. If you do not provide contact information, we may be unable to reply or arrange a requested demonstration. Submitting an enquiry is not blanket permission for unrelated marketing.
If we offer optional marketing communications, we will explain their purpose and provide an appropriate choice and a way to stop them. You may also contact us to withdraw consent on reasonable notice. We will explain any likely consequences and stop the relevant collection, use or disclosure, including by parties acting on our behalf, unless continued processing is required or permitted by law. Withdrawal does not necessarily require deletion of records that must be retained for lawful purposes.
Where cookies or similar technologies are used, they may support website functions, preferences or security. Some website functions also load third-party technical scripts that may receive connection or traffic information. Where optional analytics, advertising or other tracking is used, we will explain its purposes and provide any consent choices required by applicable law. This policy alone does not give permission for unrelated tracking. Browser controls can block or delete cookies, although this may affect some features.
Our Contact page includes embedded Google Maps. Loading that content may send Google information such as your IP address, browser details and the page visited; cookies or other identifiers may also be involved depending on the service and settings. Google’s handling of that information is explained at policies.google.com/privacy.
Links to LinkedIn or other external websites take you to services with their own privacy terms. Review those terms before providing information there.
For the purposes described above, relevant information may be made available to authorised personnel and service providers supporting website hosting, IT, communications or business administration, where engaged. It may also be shared with professional advisers, or authorities and other parties where reasonably necessary and permitted or required by law, including to address a dispute or protect legal rights.
We limit disclosures to what is appropriate for the purpose. Where a provider processes personal data for us, we require suitable protection and handling obligations. We do not use this policy to authorise unrestricted disclosure to partners or other third parties.
Our operations or service providers may involve handling personal data outside Singapore. Where we transfer personal data overseas, we will meet the applicable PDPA transfer requirements, including taking appropriate steps to secure protection comparable to the PDPA through legally enforceable obligations or another permitted mechanism. You may contact us for information about safeguards relevant to your data.
We retain personal data only while it serves the notified purpose or is needed for a legal or business purpose. Relevant considerations include whether an enquiry remains active, ongoing business relationships, applicable record-keeping requirements and disputes. When retention is no longer justified, we delete the information or remove the means of identifying individuals, subject to necessary backup-management arrangements.
We take reasonable steps to keep personal data accurate and complete where it may affect a decision about you or be disclosed to another organisation. Please tell us if information you have provided changes.
We make reasonable security arrangements appropriate to the personal data and risks to protect against unauthorised access, use, disclosure, alteration, loss and similar risks. No website or transmission method can guarantee absolute security.
If a personal-data breach occurs, we will assess and respond to it and notify the Personal Data Protection Commission (PDPC) and affected individuals where required, within the applicable timeframes.
Subject to applicable law and its exceptions, you may request access to personal data we hold about you and information about how it has been used or disclosed in the preceding year. You may also request correction of an error or omission. Send a written request with enough detail for us to identify the information concerned. We may reasonably verify your identity or authority before responding.
We will respond as soon as reasonably possible or practicable, as applicable. If we cannot respond to an access or correction request within 30 days, we will notify you in writing within that period of the expected response time. A reasonable fee may apply to access requests, with a written estimate provided beforehand. No fee applies to correction requests. Any refusal or restriction will be handled in accordance with applicable law.
For privacy questions, requests or complaints, email info@kayak-analytics.com with ‘Data protection’ in the subject line, or write to KAYAK ANALYTICS PTE LTD at the Singapore address in section 1. Describe your concern and how we can contact you. We will review the matter and respond through the appropriate contact.
You may also raise concerns with Singapore’s PDPC through pdpc.gov.sg. Contacting us first does not restrict any right you may have to approach a regulator.
Visiting this website, making an enquiry or requesting a demonstration does not, by itself, authorise the use of your personal data or your organisation’s data to train AI models. Any proposed training use requires an appropriate, separately established legal and contractual basis and any necessary notice or consent.
We may update this policy to reflect changes in the website, our practices or legal requirements. The version published here will show its last-updated date. Material changes will be communicated as appropriate; publishing an update does not replace any notice or consent required for a new purpose.
